Bank of China partners Digi-Sign
to enhance security of online transactions

(Hong Kong, 7th December 2005) Digi-Sign Certification Services Limited (“Digi-Sign”), a subsidiary wholly owned by Tradelink Electronic Commerce Limited (“Tradelink”), has recently entered into an agreement with Bank of China (Hong Kong) (“BOCHK”) to provide electronic certificates for corporate customers of BOCHK and its associate companies.

In line with BOCHK’s global strategy, the certificate will be branded as BOC Corporate e-Certificate and made available to local and overseas corporate clients. The certificate will be stored onto a secure USB token to provide enhanced protection and assurance for corporate clients for online transactions. With the certificate, these corporate clients can securely manage their accounts and instructions anywhere through the online banking service provided by the bank.
