Tradelink's Automated Manifest Service (AMS)/
Advance Commercial Information for Canadian Customs (ACI) offers
a complete solution which shippers, carriers, and non-vessel operating
common carriers (NVOCCs) can use to submit cargo information to
the U.S. / Canadian Customs Departments 24 hours prior to the
lading of US-bound/ Canadian-bound cargoes at foreign ports.
Tradelink launched its AMS/ ACI service to facilitate
compliance with the aforesaid U.S. / Canadian Customs’ 24-hour
rule. Since then, the service has incorporated other user-friendly
functions to enhance its convenience and efficiency.
Fundamentally, the complete solution of AMS/ ACI can:

integrate with Tradelink's Shipping Order
service so that carriers and NVOCCs can obtain cargo information
from shippers electronically; and

inter-connect with the relevant network/
system of the customs authorities of Hong Kong for automatic
manifest forwarding of shipments departing from Hong Kong.
With our complete solution, users will be able
to prepare and submit maritime cargo manifest information to relevant
authorities in an accurate and timely manner by using newly-added
and enhanced features such as e-mail notification, import/export
interface, document amendment and move voyage.
