Automated Manifest Service(AMS) offers a complete solution which
shippers, carriers, and non-vessel operating common carriers (NVOCCs)
can use to submit cargo information to the U.S. Customs Department,
24 hours prior to the lading of US-bound cargoes at foreign ports.
Tradelink launched its Automated Manifest Service in January 2003 to facilitate compliance with the U.S. Customs 24-hour rule. Since then, the service has been incorporated with user-friendly functions to enhance convenience and efficiency.
Fundamentally, the complete solution of the Automated Manifest Service allows for:

Integration of the AMS with Tradelink's Shipping Order service so that carriers and NVOCCs can obtain cargo information from shippers electronically; and
- Inter-connected with the Hong Kong Customs Department for automatic manifest forwarding of shipments departing from Hong Kong.
With the complete solution, users will now be able to prepare and submit accurate and timely maritime cargo manifest information to the authorities by using newly-added and enhanced features such as e-mail notification, import/export interface, document amendment and move voyage.
