It is a common interface process which makes it possible for river carriers to input just once the cargo manifest data and send to Tradelink and Guangdong Nanfang, without the need of duplication of data entry.

The cooperation between Tradelink and the Mainland provider is to develop an end user solution that can minimise the data entry efforts by carriers for lodging electronic manifests to the Hong Kong and Mainland governments.

Submitting manifest to the Mainland Customs using Tradelink Service Centres

Meanwhile, customers who need to submit manifest to the Mainland Customs can now have a more convenient means to do so. Carriers can now submit manifests to the Guangdong Customs using Tradelink Service Centres.

Customers need only to visit Tradelink Service Centre, as listed below, and fill in the necessary documents. Tradelink Service Centre staff will process the submissions electronically, which will then be passed to the Guangdong Customs.
