Registration
You must register as a Tradelink customer before
you can use Tradelink services. After registration, your company
will be issued with a unique Customer ID, Mailbox ID and password.
The Customer ID and password enable you to connect to Tradelink's
system while Personal ID-Cert is designed for the person authorised
by your company to sign electronic transactions.
To register, please download the Registration
Form below and follow the instructions. The form must be submitted
to Tradelink in hard copy along with the signature of the registration
authoriser and any necessary supporting documents.
On registration, your company will be required
to complete and sign a Direct Debit Authorisation Form enabling
Tradelink to collect fees and charges by autopay from a nominated
bank account, at your choice of either monthly or fortnightly
frequency.
Staff authorised by your company to sign the
transactions must apply for the Personal ID-Cert by completing
the application form for Personal ID-Cert.
It takes about 2 to 3 days to complete the registration
if all the forms and documents are duly completed. We will inform
you the delivery arrangement of your Customer Kit upon the completion
of the registration process. At the same time, Digi-Sign Certification
Service Limited will also contact each authorised message signatory
about the pick up arrangement of the Personal ID-Cert(s).
Software installation
The Customer Kit includes a set of Tradelink
software, an installation manual, a set of Company Profile Information
Sheet, an activation key and the set of User ID and Password for
accessing Tradelink-eBiz.com services.
The Installation Manual provides full details
of how to install and set up your Tradelink software. You can
either follow the instruction to install the software, or enroll
in a Tradelink training course on software installation. You are
recommended to attend the training course to obtain hands-on experience
about the installation.

The Company Profile Information Sheet inside
your Customer Kit is your record in the Tradelink database. You
are reminded to verify that all the details are correct.

The set of User ID and Password is for you to
access
Tradelink-eBiz.com. You can check your latest billing
statement, transaction message status, access Tradelink Membership
Rewards Program and change your company information there.
Billing & Payment System
Once you become a Tradelink customer, Tradelink's
electronic billing system will assign an Account Limit (up to
70% of your deposit amount) and a Service Limit (100% of deposit)
to your account. If your deposit amount is HK$3,000, your Account
Limit and Service Limit will be HK$2,100 and HK$3,000 respectively.
If your Account Limit reaches the upper limit before the end of
your assigned billing date, a statement will automatically be
delivered to you. The payment will be settled by Direct Debit
within two working days and you will be able to continue your
electronic transactions.
However, if your Service Limit is reached before
your payment is settled, you will not be able to continue using
our service until the payment is settled. The subsequent transactions
will be rejected with the error message "The Service Limit
has been Exceeded". To reset your Service Limit, you have
to settle the outstanding payment by depositing the outstanding
amount directly Tradelink's bank account. Please refer to the
procedures on the page "Payments prior to completion of
the autopay arrangement" for details.
Change of your Mailbox'
Password
For those customers using ValuNet Deluxe, ValuNet
Lite or LogiNet Standard on Internet, you are recommended to change
your password on a regular basis with the following procedures:

Send a written notification with your company
letterhead and the proper authorisation signature to Tradelink
requesting the change of your company's mailbox password.

Upon receipt of the written notification,
Tradelink will inform you a web address for you to change
your password online.

Connect to the particular page, login the
system with your Tradelink-eBiz.com password, then change
your mailbox password immediately.

Login to ValuNet Deluxe, ValuNet Lite or
LogiNet Standard on Internet to change the mailbox password
in the software accordingly.

Keep Us Updated
To ensure uninterrupted business operations,
please inform Tradelink your updates on company information as
soon as possible.
It is important for you to advise us of any change
to your company's Registration Authoriser, as his/her approval
is needed when, for example, your company needs to add or delete
message signatories. If we have no record that the Authoriser
has been changed, the request might not be handled until Tradelink
is able to verify the authenticity of the new Registration Authoriser.
