Trade compliance

Electronic road cargo document compliance in Hong Kong

To comply with the Import and Export (Electronic Cargo Information) Regulation, a shipper or freight forwarder acting as a shipper (or an agent of either party) is obliged to provide advanced cargo information to the Customs and Excise Department (C&ED) at least 30 minutes before cargo being imported into or exported from Hong Kong by truck.

Tradelink Road Cargo System (ROCARS) solution makes it easy to:
  • Submit electronic advanced cargo information (e-ACI)
  • Conduct bundling
  • View the earliest allowed boundary crossing date and time
  • Check consignment status until goods cross the boundary
  • Prepare Trade Declarations with the submitted data

Streamline your operations

No ROCARS registration required

We act as your agent so you don't have to register with C&ED for ROCARS. Tradelink Import & Export Trade Declarations (TDEC) customers will have the ROCARS solution automatically preset.

Quick bundling

All required cargo and vehicle information for e-ACI can be inputted at the same time through our ROCARS solution for e-ACI submission and bundling in one single step.

Data inheritance

With the data inheritance function, Tradelink TDEC customers can prepare TDEC easily via e-ACI avoiding the need for repetitive data input.

SMS notification

With this value-added service, your truckers will receive instant SMS messages on the status of bundling, the relevant reference number and earliest allowed crossing time. This saves shippers' and truckers' time when informing and waiting for the bundling status.
