The Importer Security Filing and Additional Carrier Requirements (commonly known as "ISF10+2") requires importers / forwarders and carriers to electronically submit supplementary data to U.S. Customs and Border Protection CBP on shipments destined to the United States at least 24 hours before the goods are laden on board the vessel.
Under ISF10+2 requirements, importers / forwarders are responsible for 10 data elements while carriers 2data elements to be submitted in accurate and timely manner. Failure to do so may result in severe penalty.
