Delivered WMS project to support new e-Business-to-Business of a major express courier
To support our major express courier customer who is expanding its business beyond the traditional Business-to-Consumer (B2C) delivery services to Business-to-Business (B2B) e-business operations, we delivered to it our Warehouse Management System (WMS) that integrates with the backend systems of its new business clients. Moreover, with the integration to the courier customer's transportation management system, our WMS significantly enhances the accuracy and efficiency of the e-business order fulfillment of its business clients.

Furthermore as a demonstration to its potential clients, we helped our customer to set up a show warehouse using our WMS to orchestrate and control the operation of sophisticated material handling system including vertical lift, put to light as well as pick and pack to support dry goods and cold chain warehouse operations. The show warehouse demonstrated how the warehouse storage space could be maximized and sorting and picking productivity increased.

We are delighted to roll out the system in around half a year, enabling our major express courier customer to expand its business to provide warehouse management services to their B2B e-business customers with state-of-the-art technologies to meet the industry best practices, and to unlock huge business potential.
Deployed eKYC solutions that support new HK Smart Identity Card to various financial institutions
To keep pace with fast evolving technology and market development, through successful research and development work, our Identity Management Solutions team has enhanced our electronic Know-Your-Customer (eKYC) solutions to support the new smart Hong Kong identity (HKID) Card which is embedded with more advanced and sophisticated security features since its rollout in late 2018.

Started with traditional banks, we have provided our cutting-edge enhanced eKYC solutions supporting the new smart HKID to a variety of financial institutions including stock brokers, virtual banks, insurance companies and licensees of Stored Value Facilities for digital onboarding of their customers. Our solutions enable our clients to conduct the whole account opening process, from identity document verification to facial recognition, all being carried out on the applicant's own mobile device anytime, anywhere.

Looking forward, we will continue to enhance our solutions to support more types of identity documents from different countries to meet specific business needs.
Formed new partnership with a payment gateway provider to target SME retailers
Apart from our three major banks partners, our PayTech Solutions team has confirmed a new partnership with a payment gateway provider adopting our Smart Point-of-Sales (PoS) as its all-in-one payment collection solution to target SME retailers, a market which traditionally has not been that well-covered by banks.

SME retailers have not benefitted much from the growing popularity of electronic payment as it has been historically hard and costly for SME retailers to apply for payment services from banks due to their small-scale business. With the deployment of our Smart PoS which supports a wide variety of payment channels including those more commonly used channels such as Octopus and EPS, our partner enables SME retailers to enjoy a simple and convenient payment collection process and accept a wide range of contact/contactless and e-wallet payments in a convenient and secure way.

We will work with our partner to explore opportunity to develop value-added applications on our Smart PoS which can be offered to SME retailers as subscription services. Together with our Smart PoS maintenance service and other value-added applications developed with partners such as smart vending machine and self-ordering kiosk also being offered as services to merchants, we expect our regular ongoing recurrent revenue for our PayTech solutions would grow.
