Tradelink participated in the T-box Workshop: “Navigating Export Risks and AI-Driven Trade Declarations” organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC). Invited by the Hong Kong Export Credit Insurance Corporation (HKECIC), Tradelink served as a co-speaker alongside HKECIC representatives, sharing cutting-edge digital trade and risk management strategies with SMEs.
Against an increasingly dynamic global trade environment, importers and exporters frequently face operational bottlenecks in their trade declaration workflows, including complex regulatory compliance, excessive paperwork, and manual data-entry errors. During the session, Ms Natalie Lee, Product Development Manager at Tradelink, illustrated how the “T+” digital trade platform reshapes customs declaration workflows, breaking through traditional operational constraints and guiding SMEs towards agile, intelligent business operations.
In her presentation, Natalie highlighted two key AI-driven features of “T+” platform:
- HS Code AI Classifier: Our intelligent assistants analyses user-inputted product descriptions and instantly matches them with the most relevant HS codes. This eliminates tedious and error-prone manual catalog lookups, substantially improving classification accuracy and administrative efficiency.
- AI TDEC Assistant: Engineered to simplify trade compliance, allows users to directly upload relevant trade documents—such as commercial invoices and packing lists—to the T+ platform. The AI assistant automatically drafts the declaration form, allowing staff to review and submit it with a single click, drastically reducing processing time.
