Tradelink participated in the seminar “Driving Digital Transformation in Accounting Sector via CorpID Digital Signing”, organised by the Digital Policy Office (DPO) of the HKSAR Government on 29 October 2026. Bringing together around 70 in-person industry executives and over 300 online participants, the event explored how the forthcoming Digital Corporate Identity (“CorpID”) platform can streamline corporate workflows, enhance compliance security, and combat fake auditors and fraudulent audit reports.
During the solution showcase session, Mr. Andrew Cheng, Executive Director and Chief Operations Officer of Tradelink, spoke on behalf of the company to elaborate on the legal validity and operational benefits of digital signatures. Andrew emphasised that digital signatures are far more than visual signature images or company chop graphics; they embed recognized certificates to deliver verifiable legal standing and robust tamper-evident protection. Underpinned by Digi-Sign Certification Services Limited—Hong Kong’s first commercial Recognized Certification Authority and a wholly owned subsidiary of Tradelink—the Document Management and Signing Service (DMSS) ensures full legal validity for signed documents, enabling recipients to verify identity and document integrity while eliminating fraud concerns. Andrew also highlighted DMSS’s intuitive user journey, demonstrating how businesses can soon leverage CorpID for streamlined registration via automated pre-filling and secure CorpID authentication for login, alongside flexible signing options including Personal Signing, Corporate Signing (CorpID Cert), and Integrated Signing (“1 + 1 Signing”). Furthermore, the platform supports secure and compliant remote signing for individuals based overseas, boosting cross-border document processing efficiency.
With the support of the Digital Policy Office, Tradelink set up a consultation booth at the seminar, where our professional team engaged attendees to share insights into digital identity applications. As one of the first batch of e-service providers integrating CorpID, Tradelink is fully prepared to launch its services in tandem with the platform’s official rollout at the end of the year. Tradelink remains firmly committed to championing the Government’s CorpID initiative, leveraging secure and accessible digital infrastructure to substantially enhance operational efficiency across corporate business processes.
